Michael Apostolos started off as a freshman in high school interning at Performance Lighting out of Chicago. He first began working in the shop as a tech prepping gear for upcoming shows and was dedicated to begin low on the totem pole, and work his way up. Moving forward, he then got into designing and programming for his high school theater and upon graduation, pursued a career as a lighting designer.
As a young lighting designer, over the years Michael has quickly expanded his work into creative direction & production design. Recently his work has been recognized on The Grammys as a creative director and production designer for Maren Morris and Chance the Rapper. He since has worked with up and coming star SZA and many others, bringing their music to life and creating unforgettable performances.
