JR is known for his substantial amount of choreography work with Jennifer Lopez. As J. Lo’s head choreographer, he created the vision for her stage shows, commercials, music videos, and choreographed her first, record-breaking world tour, Dance Again. Taylor was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards for Best Choreography—once in 2012 for J. Lo's Dance Again and again in 2013 for Live It Up. Collaborating with J. Lo afforded Taylor the opportunity to write and produce a song for her most recent album, AKA.
Today he continues creative direction and choreography for artists on tour, such as Monica, Nelly, Natalie La Rose, Tamar Braxton and Xscape as well as choreography for America's Got Talent and Premios Juventud.
JR's choreography is unique and precise, clean, and dynamic. It stands aside from others which makes his style likable for the many artists he's worked with.
